I'm not sure if anyone has read Emerald Events lately, but there is a week long pillage competition going on from Feb 19-26. The competition there is a crew competition (Yes, Privateers, the defending Sage champions will be entering) What I would like to do for the entire flag, is give everyone a chance to win some individual prizes, regardless if your crew is participating or not. All you have to do is win battles. Battles can be solo on a sloop or be on a fully staffed war brig, it doesn't matter. Basically whoever wins the most battles wins the competition. All rules in the Just Pillage competition apply, such as no PVP battles counting. Please post on this thread if you would like to compete or let me know in-game so I have an idea of how many competitors there are.
You will have to let me know how many battles you won, what ship the battles were done on and I will need to verify your wins on vessel records. Anyone who wishes to compete that is not in Privateers will have to trade their ship deed to me for a couple of minutes so I can verify wins (I promise I am trustworty). Please send me a tell in-game or send a me a PM on the Black Flag forum with this information. I would like to keep a running total of how many battles each person won, but I will do the final verification at the end of the competition. The verification may take a day or two, but will announce winners ASAP.
The competition will run the same as the crew one, from Feb 19 to 26th. (Any crew wishing to sign up for the crew competition, there is a thread on Emerald Events...Second place behind Privateers won't be so bad ) The top three individuals from the flag in number of wins for the time of the competition will win one of three mystery gifts. The value of the prizes in each box will be at least 50k, but will keep you in suspense. |

Hey guys...I need to know who is participating in this. I know a lot of people are but haven't told me yet. The mystery boxes are placed in the entry room at flag hall. Good luck. |

I belive there are good prices for the winning team, so to make some flag money ppl in flag that are not in the competition self could have an alt in privateers to help us win Last time there was some LE ships, I belive they was worth like 700k+ total (not sure on that). And after that we did a box auction with those LE ships as prices. Dont think that would be the best idea to do now, since BF have done a few in the past.
This is also in the middle of my spring break, so got lots of time ^^
Good Luck all _________________ Blacksmokej.

I'm in!
I have been away from the game since christmas so I'm looking forward to getting back into it.
It's just the same as the ''Pillage Til Ye Drop'' competition, right? So I can take out my little sloop on solo runs?
Good luck everyone.
Thanks, Cher. |

Worth repeating!
If anyone in the flag finds their crew aren't going to win/enter and wants to help another crew to win, you can still win great prizes if Privateers win! (Or any fellow flaggie crew). Every winning battle will count, the competition could be very close -- so have some fun and lend a hand!

Yes I think it is best to have as many ships out as possible...solo or 2 person sloops(people that don't bnav can help this way). If Privateers wins any prize we will be donating the cash portion to the flag. Privateers will also be raffling off any of the ships won to people in the crew that helped.
And yes Legs....just like the last one...solo pillage until you can't solo pillage anymore. |

As of this morning Privateers is ahead of the nearest competition by about 100 battles. It has been wonderful to see everyone participating. Don't forget the top 3 battle winners in the flag (not just Privateers) gets one of 3 mystery boxes. Also, for those in Privateers helping win battles toward the crew competition, every 10 wins earns you a lottery ticket for whatever ships we win from the competition. In addition...earlier today our amazing friend Luckysox has donated a lagoon class sloop...to be given to the person who wins the most battles. This will be in addition to the mystery box (so top battle winner gets both). Keep up the good work. Please try to remember to update me each day with how many wins you had the previous day. I'm keeping track and checking ships the best that I can, and the daily totals will help a lot. |

Privateers & Friends <3 are steamrolling the competition -- across all the oceans. Amazing. Keep up the incredible work.
My favourite part so far is the PP forum thread where Cher notices that the Privateer scores haven't been counted - that would NOT have been funny.

I'm surprised that the forum trolls didn't find a reason to comment on my "polite" post. Usually no matter what you say, someone finds fault. |

Great job everyone. Privateers had over 1000 wins for the week, even though we sort of stopped trying after Wednesday when we were so far ahead. I am still trying to get battle totals from a few people and verify vessel records, but as of right now Carpenper is in first place with 252 wins, Partial in second with 163 and Legs in third with 100. I will let you know if these change when I catch up with the last few people. If anyone outside of Privateers did any battles toward the competition in their crew for the 3 mystery boxes please let me know ASAP. Prizes will be distributed sometime over the weekend after I finish counting. I will keep you posted. |
